Central Wyoming College helps students and staff work together on and off campus

Central Wyoming College, a two-year college serving 2,000 students across four campuses in rural Wyoming, needed a better way for students and staff to access email and documents from anywhere. With people commuting long distances and growing demand for collaboration and mobile-friendly tools, the college turned to Google for Education and its cloud-based G Suite for Education platform.

Google for Education helped CWC replace on-campus email and file storage with Gmail, Google Sheets, Hangouts, and other cloud tools, enabling secure access and real-time collaboration on and off campus. The results included less reliance on “sneakernet,” reduced IT workload and costs, fewer document errors, stronger permission control, and better teamwork for students and staff—while also helping students build workplace collaboration skills.
