Carroll School pilots 40 Chromebooks with Google for Education

Carroll School, a school for students with learning disabilities, faced a challenge with its clunky and difficult-to-maintain Windows devices that discouraged student learning. The school's Director of Technology, Margaret Kuzmicz, sought intuitive technology from Google for Education that would help its students excel in the classroom.

The solution from Google for Education involved implementing Google Workspace for Education, touchscreen Chromebooks, and Google Classroom. This provided an improved experience for students, who now use the devices for their daily work and testing. The Chromebooks have been so popular that the school is also piloting them for faculty use, with a plan to eventually equip all 100 teachers.
