A startup reinvents the higher education admissions process using AI

iSchoolConnect, a higher education technology startup founded in 2018, wanted to make admissions more efficient by helping the best schools and the best students find each other. Working with Google for Education and Google Cloud tools such as Dialogflow, App Engine, and TensorFlow, the company set out to build AI-powered solutions for both students and admissions teams.

Google for Education helped iSchoolConnect create AI-driven products including a student matching website, a 24/7 virtual admissions agent, and a video interview platform. The results included 2,000 registered users and 120,000 chatbot interactions, while schools were able to reduce repetitive admissions questions and spend more time on data analysis and student engagement.
