ZEISS Vision Care Driving more in-store traffic with Google Maps Platform

ZEISS Vision Care, part of the globally recognized ZEISS technology brand, needed a better way to help customers find nearby opticians and strengthen brand loyalty across its vision care network. Its existing store locator no longer met expectations, and ZEISS wanted a more intuitive, premium customer experience using Google Cloud Platform and Google Maps Platform.

Google Cloud Platform, working with partner Maplicate, delivered a centrally managed store locator and location-management solution built on Google Maps Platform, Google My Business, and Google Cloud services. The new system rolled out to more than 50 markets and tens of thousands of opticians, halved onboarding time for new countries and stores, reduced maintenance costs, and gave ZEISS measurable insights into calls, store visits, and marketing ROI.
