Yubo, a social media app for Gen Z, used Google Cloud Platform to help scale its platform, support livestream traffic, and strengthen safety for its users. Google Cloud Platform implemented Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE), Cloud Bigtable, and Cloud Vision to improve operations, database scalability, and user verification. The results included smoother management of 130,000 daily livestreams, lower latency for swipe actions, and stronger moderation and fraud detection, helping Yubo deliver a safer, faster app experience for millions of users.
