YouGenomics brings genomics data analysis to labs without bioinformatics resources using Google Genomics

YouGenomics, founded by bioinformatics and computing experts, provides scalable “omics” data analysis to labs and hospitals that lack in‑house bioinformatics. Faced with rapidly growing whole‑genome and exome datasets and many labs unable to afford or staff the necessary compute infrastructure, the company needed a secure, scalable way to process large sequencing volumes, speed up analysis, and share results globally.

Working with MediaAgility, YouGenomics built an automated analysis platform on Google Cloud Platform using Google Genomics and BigQuery. The solution runs high‑throughput DNA/RNA pipelines (including GATK best practices or custom pipelines), delivers lightning‑fast variant queries, supports HIPAA‑compliant global access, reduces turnaround and capital costs, and lets the team scale processing while focusing on advanced interpretation and diagnostics.
