Ynet, Israel’s largest news and content website, needed to modernize its siloed on-premises data infrastructure so it could standardize databases, share insights across departments, and support faster decision-making. The company turned to Google Cloud Platform, using services like BigQuery, Cloud Storage, and Compute Engine to replace manual, inefficient data handling and improve security and scalability.

Google Cloud Platform helped Ynet build a unified “single source of truth” by moving data from across the Yedioth Ahronoth Group into BigQuery and automating ETL processes. The result was faster research and analysis, better collaboration, lower infrastructure costs, and near-real-time aggregation of millions of metrics per second, while also improving governance and enabling new dashboards, recommendations, and business opportunities.
