YDUQS simplifies student access to higher education with Google Cloud's generative AI

YDUQS, one of Brazil’s largest higher education groups serving more than 1.4 million students, needed to improve the speed, security, and scalability of its enrollment and data processes while maintaining service quality. To support its digital transformation, YDUQS turned to Google Cloud Platform, including Vertex AI and Vertex AI PaLM 2, to modernize its approach to managing student admissions and internal data workflows.

With Google Cloud Platform, YDUQS automated the screening of admission cover letters and integrated generative AI into its enrollment website, making processes faster and more reliable. The results included a success rate above 90%, an average response time of 4 seconds, and annual savings of nearly BRL 1.5 million, while also increasing employee productivity and freeing teams to focus on strategic work.
