Wiser Pushing the education frontier by migrating its SAP environment to Google Cloud

Wiser Educação, a Brazilian EdTech holding company with brands like Wise Up and Wiser Sales Platform, needed a more scalable and efficient technology foundation as online education demand surged during the pandemic. After its online student base jumped from about 80,000–90,000 to 300,000 in just a few months, the company faced growing infrastructure and SAP management challenges. Wiser had already chosen Google Cloud Platform in 2018 to support its data and digital operations.

The company also used Google Kubernetes Engine, BigQuery, and Cloud SQL to automate workloads, speed up analytics, and manage databases more effectively.
