Well, a customer-centric healthcare platform in Switzerland, needed a secure and scalable way to launch a national digital health service while meeting strict Swiss healthcare data protection laws. Built on Google Cloud Platform, the company used products including Google Cloud, Anthos, BigQuery, Cloud Healthcare API, and Google Kubernetes Engine to connect patients with doctors, pharmacists, and insurers.

Google Cloud Platform implemented a cloud architecture that securely stores and shares patient data using the FHIR standard, supports compliance through the Zurich region, and provides autoscaling infrastructure for the platform. The result was a minimum viable product built in under five months, a stable platform that reached about 150,000 users in one year, and a foundation for growth toward more than 200,000 users.
