Walden University uses Google Cloud technology to launch Julian, a dynamic interactive tutor for teaching and learning

Walden University, an online education provider for working professionals in healthcare and behavioral science, needed a way to deliver personalized tutoring at scale for its diverse student body. It partnered with Google Cloud Platform and used Google Cloud Student Success Services to develop Julian, an AI-powered tutor built on Google’s AI and ML capabilities.

Google Cloud Platform helped Walden University launch Julian with features like question generation, note review, paraphrasing practice, and on-demand Q&A. In a pilot with 60+ students, the response was very positive, with students valuing 24/7 flexible access and faculty saving time on practice support; the platform is also scalable, easy to update, and being expanded to more courses.
