VIDAA, a smart TV operating system and content platform provider, needed a voice control system built specifically for smart TVs that could support users across multiple regions and languages. To meet that challenge, VIDAA used Google Cloud Platform’s Dialogflow to develop its own smart voice assistant with multilingual support and faster machine learning model training.

Google Cloud Platform helped VIDAA launch a TV voice assistant supporting 13 languages in just six months with a small team, and later expand support to more than 20 languages using Dialogflow’s Multilingual Agent feature. The solution also enabled advanced TV-specific commands and improved voice intent detection accuracy to more than 93%, helping VIDAA deliver a more capable, scalable user experience.
