Upgrading learning for millions using data and personalized feedback with Gemini

iCanStudy, an Australian edtech company, partnered with Google Cloud Platform to build a new learning platform that could scale to more than a million users while improving reliability and reducing downtime. The company also needed to cut the time spent onboarding developers as it developed AI-driven learning tools for personalized feedback.

Google Cloud Platform helped iCanStudy launch its platform on a resilient cloud architecture and develop two key products: a Deep Search Engine and a generative-AI Meta Analyser, using Vertex AI and Gemini. The solution used services including Firestore, VPC, Cloud Run, and Compute Engine, and iCanStudy said it became the first edtech business in Australia to build on Google Cloud with Gemini and Vertex AI.
