UPC Polska Transforming services and app development through hybrid IT

UPC Polska, a large telecom provider, needed a better way to modernize its new customer service application because its strictly on-premises infrastructure made scaling, maintenance, and secure releases difficult. Working with Google Cloud Platform and Accenture, the company adopted Google Cloud Anthos to support a hybrid computing approach and move from Waterfall to Agile development.

With Google Cloud Platform Anthos, UPC Polska created development, testing, and production clusters in just six weeks and integrated them into a CI/CD process. The new platform improved scalability, resiliency, security, and observability, while helping the team release features faster without disrupting customers and laying the groundwork for more personalized service across more than a million customers.
