Uniting man and machine learning for higher returns with Google Cloud

Rezco, a South Africa-based boutique asset management firm, needed to reduce operational friction and free its small team from time-consuming administrative work so it could focus on investment management. Using Google Cloud Platform services such as Google Workspace, BigQuery, Cloud Storage, and serverless tools, along with support from Google Cloud partner Siatik Systems, Rezco set out to modernize its workflows and build a more efficient, data-driven business.

Google Cloud Platform helped Rezco automate repetitive tasks with Cloud Functions and Pub/Sub, speed up reporting, and create an AI-powered trading platform using Cloud Machine Learning and TensorFlow. The results were significant: quarterly reporting dropped from five days to about an hour of review, more than 400 customer data feeds were automated for less than a dollar a month, and Rezco scaled assets from ZAR300 million to around ZAR7 billion without adding IT or DevOps staff.
