A Google Cloud Platform Case Study
Topcoder is a crowdsourcing marketplace that connects businesses with designers, developers, and data scientists to build technology solutions. The company faced workflow roadblocks using a different browser across its large, distributed community, which made simulating client issues and delivering fast, consistent coding solutions difficult.
Topcoder switched to Chrome Browser, built a Chrome extension to search GitHub for challenges and find other developers, and used Device Mode to simulate devices and screen sizes without physical hardware. The change streamlined development with useful extensions, saved time by unifying testing and debugging in one environment, and enabled faster, more reliable delivery to enterprise customers.
