Tixsee, a fan-experience technology company, partnered with the Dallas Mavericks to create an immersive ticket-buying platform for games at the American Airlines Center. The challenge was to give fans an online, cross-device way to tour the arena — from seating and the court to the team store — and to provide directions and parking information to streamline the in-person experience.
Using Google Maps Street View and a Google-trusted agency that captured 12,400 images, Tixsee produced 1,000+ high-definition 360° panoramas that recreate the arena in 3D, let fans stroll aisles, preview seats, buy tickets and merchandise, and plan parking. The solution delivers a consistent web and mobile experience, drives more than six minutes of engagement per visitor, and converts 34% of users who take a virtual tour into ticket purchasers.
