A Google Cloud Platform Case Study
Teemo is a France‑based drive-to-store mobile advertising platform that uses anonymized geolocation data to target customers and measure real‑world store visits. To deliver precise, GDPR‑compliant ads and analytics at scale, the company needed a secure, easy‑to‑use infrastructure that could ingest billions of data points and handle tens of thousands of real‑time ad opportunities per second.
Teemo built a data pipeline on Google Cloud using Compute Engine, Cloud Pub/Sub, Cloud Dataflow/Dataproc, BigQuery, and Cloud Bigtable, with Cloud CDN for low‑latency delivery. The platform processes 50,000 requests per second in under 40 ms, enables accurate visit attribution and actionable insights for clients (one retailer reported €15 revenue per €1 spent), and uses managed services and flexible pricing to reduce operations overhead and scale quickly.
