Swiss Life Building a scalable app to offer hands-free data insights for agents on the move

Swiss Life France, part of the Swiss Life Group and a leading insurance and savings provider, faced a practical problem: its tied agents travel across the country and struggled to access timely customer insights and marketing scores while on the move. The company needed a mobile, hands‑free way to surface relevant client data in French and a platform that could scale without disrupting users.

Working with Quantmetry, Swiss Life built the Aida app on Google Cloud Platform using Kubernetes Engine, Cloud Speech‑to‑Text, Dialogflow, Google Maps, Cloud SQL and Datastore. The app delivers real‑time, hands‑free transcription and a chatbot interface across 10 core use cases (appointments, notes, nearby client suggestions, product leads, etc.), was launched from proof of concept to MVP in three months, is used about 10 times per agent per day, has improved sales and saved time, and can scale and receive invisible updates as usage grows.
