Suzano, Brazil’s largest eucalyptus cellulose producer, needed to modernize its data infrastructure, consolidate its data lake, and make information easier for employees to access and use for better decision-making. Using Google Cloud Platform products such as BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Cloud Functions, Cloud Run, Cloud Composer, and Dataproc, Suzano aimed to improve scalability, flexibility, and support its growing digital transformation efforts.

Google Cloud Platform helped Suzano build a new data architecture that centralized data, sped up reporting, and supported its Data Science Academy and internal app development. The company now ingests over 1 million plant-related data points daily, can create apps in under 40 minutes, and has reduced manual work in industrial and freight projects, delivering cost savings, faster processes, and stronger data-driven decision-making.
