Staples helping customers easily locate stores

Staples, a North American retailer with more than 1,600 stores, needed an easy way for customers to find the nearest location, see driving directions and distances, and avoid the cost and time of building its own mapping infrastructure.

Staples implemented Google Maps Platform—using the Maps JavaScript API for its website and Maps SDKs for iOS and Android—plus address autocomplete to streamline searches. As a result, customers can quickly locate nearby stores, get seamless directions, accurately enter delivery addresses, and shop online for in-store pickup.
