Splashgain, an award-winning Indian edtech company, needed to scale its digital assessment, remote proctoring, and online evaluation services globally while maintaining reliable performance for up to 50,000 concurrent exams. Its earlier on-premise and VM-based setups struggled with uptime, manual provisioning, and the need for 99.99% availability across more than 15 countries, including markets with low internet penetration.

With help from Searce, Splashgain migrated to Google Cloud Platform and built on Google Kubernetes Engine, along with Cloud Functions and Cloud Scheduler, to automate operations and improve scalability. Google Cloud Platform helped Splashgain achieve 100% uptime across 17 countries, automate 70% of platform operations, boost operational efficiency by 20%, reduce operating costs by 20%, and shrink cloud-management staffing from three engineers to one.
