SGS DIGICOMPLY, a subsidiary of SGS SA, needed a way to turn massive amounts of complex, unstructured compliance information into actionable insights for food producers and other manufacturers. Using Google Cloud Platform, the company built an AI-driven compliance intelligence platform to monitor changing regulations, safety issues, and market alerts across hundreds of markets and languages.

Google Cloud Platform powered the solution with services including Google Kubernetes Engine, Compute Engine, Cloud GPUs, Document AI, AutoML, BigQuery, and Cloud Run. The platform now monitors 100,000+ web pages across 230+ markets in 100+ languages, processes 252 million sentences from 1 million documents, and helped cut infrastructure costs by more than half while reducing processing time from months to just a couple of days for key workflows.
