Sensefuel Using Google Cloud to boost ecommerce

Sensefuel, a French retail and ecommerce technology company, needed a more resilient and scalable infrastructure to support its rapid international growth and highly personalized search platform. After previously relying on a third-party host and using Google Cloud only for failover, Sensefuel chose Google Cloud Platform to improve reliability, better handle growth, and reduce the operational burden on its internal team.

Google Cloud Platform helped Sensefuel migrate its services to Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE) and other managed cloud services, automate scalability, and provision resources based on real-time demand. The result was greater resilience, better cost control, and less time spent on maintenance, freeing the team to focus on innovation. Sensefuel also reported that its infrastructure has grown threefold to fourfold since launch, and said Google Cloud Platform could have saved it from hiring three additional staff just to maintain the infrastructure.
