Sefamerve is a Turkish online retailer (founded 2010) specializing in women’s Islamic and plus-size fashion, selling via website and apps to 65 countries. The company’s small IT team faced frequent traffic spikes from marketing campaigns and a single dedicated server that caused poor performance and about 24 hours of downtime per year, limiting conversions and flexibility.

With implementation partner Global IT, Sefamerve migrated to Google Cloud Platform using Compute Engine, Cloud Pub/Sub and Cloud Load Balancing to enable easy scaling and simpler management. The move halved page load times, doubled campaign page views, reduced downtime to a few hours annually, and increased conversion rates by 20%.
