Scaling and launching new services quickly with Google Cloud

Truecaller, the Swedish company behind a communication app used by more than 130 million daily users, needed to scale its database and infrastructure as growth outpaced its Swedish data center. To support caller ID, spam blocking, messaging, and new financial services, Truecaller turned to Google Cloud Platform, including Google Kubernetes Engine, HTTP load balancing, and other cloud services.

Google Cloud Platform helped Truecaller migrate four key workloads in just 63 days, minimize disruption to product teams, and improve agility, deployment speed, and scalability. The new setup enabled Truecaller to launch a highly secure financial communication service, support its massive daily user base, and operate with autoscaling and managed infrastructure that reduced the burden on its engineering teams.
