Cloudphysician, a healthcare company focused on Smart-ICU and virtual nursing solutions, faced the challenge of improving critical care operations while addressing shortages of trained nurses and reducing the burden of repetitive clinical tasks. Using Google Cloud Platform, including Google Kubernetes Engine, Cloudphysician aimed to support round-the-clock ICU availability and help hospitals improve efficiency.

Google Cloud Platform helped Cloudphysician scale its infrastructure with Kubernetes-based orchestration, enabling faster updates and rapid node deployment as demand spiked. The result was a more reliable, horizontally scalable platform that supports over 100 virtual nurses across more than 200 hospitals in India, helping offload bedside nurses and allowing them to focus more on patient care.
