Sara Assicurazioni Ensuring the future by becoming cloud based

Sara Assicurazioni, an Italian insurance company and official insurer of ACI, needed to modernize its traditional IT environment so its nationwide sales network could work digitally and access critical data on the go. The company wanted a mobile-first, cloud-based infrastructure for its core SAP systems and collaboration tools, and it chose Google Cloud Platform, with support from Injenia, to help make that shift.

Google Cloud Platform migrated Sara Assicurazioni’s Google Workspace and upgraded SAP environment to the cloud, using Compute Engine and live migration to avoid downtime. The transformation was completed in just four months, about three times faster than expected, improved performance and security, and is projected to reduce reliance on external consultants by 30%. Sara Assicurazioni also uses BigQuery to speed analytics and enable near real-time reporting, helping it develop new data-driven products and services.
