Orange Poland needed to modernize its data management and analytics to improve compliance and security, reduce the complexity of handling petabytes of data, and unlock AI-driven decision-making. The company was also working to move its analytics environment to Google Cloud, using Teradata VantageCloud and help from Accenture, to replace legacy on-premises infrastructure.

Looker played a role in the broader analytics transformation by supporting a more unified, cloud-based data strategy. After the migration, Orange Poland gained greater data reliability, security, and infrastructure flexibility, and it can now use AI to improve customer-facing initiatives such as churn detection and next-best-offer targeting. The project was successful enough that Orange Poland is planning a follow-up migration 10 times larger in scope.
