Renault Group leads with innovation to create tomorrow’s automotive ecosystem with Google Apigee

Renault Group, the global automotive manufacturer, was struggling with data silos across business units and a complex point-to-point backend that made sharing information and onboarding external consumers slow and difficult. To support its digital transformation, Renault Group turned to Google Cloud Platform’s Apigee API management platform to create a secure, reusable way to expose and govern data and services.

Google Cloud Platform implemented Apigee as a common API communication layer, helping Renault Group unify more than 2,000 enterprise information systems, standardize data governance, and simplify partner integration. The results included more than 1,200 APIs created and managed, over 40 million API requests per day, and faster onboarding with reduced complexity, while also improving security and enabling new monetization opportunities.
