R-evolution, a Sweden-based renewable energy solutions company, wanted to accelerate the transition to green energy by using AI to improve solar PV performance and reduce the “green premium.” Working with Google Cloud Platform, it needed a scalable way to unify real-time and historical data from solar parks and existing systems for faster anomaly detection and forecasting.

Google Cloud Platform helped R-evolution build a blueprint around BigLake, integrated with Hexagon’s sensors, software, and Xalt platform, to centralize data and enable AI/ML use cases. The solution went live in weeks instead of months and now supports daily operational reviews, quicker incident detection and resolution, and an estimated 3% to 5% improvement in costs, with lower energy yield losses and total operating costs.
