Case Study: Qubit achieves real-time personalization at scale and lower operating costs with Google Cloud Platform

A Google Cloud Platform Case Study

Preview of the Qubit Case Study

Qubit Designing a personalization platform for online retailers with Google Cloud Platform

Qubit is a digital experience delivery platform that helps retailers and travel brands (like Nine West, Spirit Airlines and Net‑A‑Porter) personalize website content and run analytics, segmentation and A/B testing. Facing rapidly growing data—doubling annually and reaching billions of events per day—Qubit needed a scalable, real‑time system that would let them deliver tailored experiences without burdening engineers with infrastructure management.

Qubit rebuilt its platform on Google Cloud using Dataflow, Pub/Sub, Bigtable, BigQuery and GKE to stream, process and store customer data, power visitor dashboards and run fast analytics and A/B tests. The move cut aggregation times from over 15 minutes to about 15 seconds, reduced operating costs through pay‑as‑you‑use services, and freed engineers to focus on product features while enabling customers to deliver more effective, revenue‑boosting personalization.
