A Google Cloud Platform Case Study
QSearch is a Taiwan‑based social media analytics company (founded 2014) that helps marketers and agencies analyze user behavior on platforms like YouTube, Facebook, and Instagram to spot trends, profile audiences, and run campaign tracking (products: Trends, Profiling, LinkBundle). The firm needed a fast, stable, and cost‑efficient infrastructure that could scale to billions of records, meet client SLAs for performance and reliability, and let a small team launch products quickly.
QSearch built its stack on Google Cloud — using BigQuery for analytics, App Engine and GKE for hosting, Cloud Storage, Pub/Sub, Stackdriver and Cloud IAM for operations and security, plus G Suite for collaboration — to deliver integrated social search and measurement tools. The result: a 43.2 billion‑record analysis completed in eight hours (instead of days), analytics that run in seconds for customers, only one error per one million LinkBundle requests, better access control and productivity, and the ability to scale volume without proportionally increasing headcount.
