DotDot Global, a Taiwan-based tech startup, needed a scalable and secure way to support its smart city app TTPush and later an innovative payment service, while meeting local data residency and security requirements. It partnered with Google Cloud Platform to handle traffic surges, protect citizen and payment data, and speed up development for government and restaurant services.

Google Cloud Platform implemented a hybrid cloud architecture using services such as Google Kubernetes Engine, Anthos, Cloud CDN, Compute Engine, and Cloud Armor. The results were strong: DotDot Global scaled app capacity by 36x in five minutes, kept services stable during traffic spikes, completed an innovative payment system in under three months, and reduced PCI DSS certification time from 6–12 months to three months.
