A Google Cloud Platform Case Study
PPC Samurai, an Australia-based software company that evolved from a digital agency, needed a more scalable way to automate PPC workflows and analyze ad performance without code. The company had been facing latency issues, slow server provisioning, and limited database visibility in its legacy environment, which made it harder to support digital agencies managing campaigns at scale. Google Cloud Platform, including Google Kubernetes Engine and Cloud SQL, helped PPC Samurai modernize its workflow automation platform.
With Google Cloud Platform, PPC Samurai migrated its data and workloads to a scalable cloud infrastructure, used Cloud Load Balancing to route traffic across regions, and relied on Cloud SQL Insights and Google Kubernetes Engine for performance and reliability. The results included cutting worst-case latency from 400 ms to 200 ms, reducing CPU needs for Cloud SQL by 50%, and improving availability to more than 99.95%, while also eliminating about five minutes of downtime per upgrade.
