A Google Cloud Platform Case Study
Pozible is an Australia‑based reward‑crowdfunding platform that helps creative projects raise funds and build communities. As the business grew it faced performance and reliability problems—early peaks of around 1,000 concurrent users caused crashes—and the founders wanted to scale predictably, streamline deployments, and offer the platform “as a service” to partners.
Pozible migrated to Google Cloud Platform, using Google Kubernetes Engine, Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, Stackdriver and G Suite to enable auto‑scaling, better monitoring and faster releases. The move eliminated peak‑period failures, supports spikes of more than 5,000 concurrent users, enabled a Pozible Base “as a service” offering, and helped drive usage and revenue growth (creators have raised over $456M across 13,300+ projects).
