Poool Reshaping media-reader relations online with a SaaS solution on Google Kubernetes Engine

Poool is a French technology startup founded in 2016 that helps publishers manage reader relationships and monetization through its Poool Access SaaS platform. As traffic grew rapidly, Poool struggled to scale its cloud infrastructure cost-effectively while keeping response times fast and deployments manageable, especially as its requests increased from 200 to 2,000 per second.

Google Cloud Platform helped Poool move to Google Kubernetes Engine, with OP-Rate supporting the transition and deployment automation. The change cut deployment time from 15 minutes to 15 seconds, reduced production costs by half from €115 to €60 per day, and gave Poool a scalable, automated infrastructure capable of handling 10x more traffic while maintaining 100-millisecond response times.
