Pet Circle Redefining the pet ownership experience with data-led insights and fast last mile delivery

Pet Circle, Australia’s large online pet retailer, needed to scale its cloud-based operations, improve customer insights, and speed up delivery amid rapid growth and post-COVID supply chain pressure. Using Google Cloud Platform products such as BigQuery, Cloud SQL, Cloud Functions, Cloud Run, Cloud Monitoring, and Looker, Pet Circle moved from static systems to a more flexible, data-driven architecture.

Google Cloud Platform helped Pet Circle build a metropolitan last-mile delivery fleet in under four months, cut delivery times from 5–7 days to 1–2 days, and expand from two fulfillment centers to four. The company also improved operational visibility and customer decision-making with its CDP and analytics tools, while reducing infrastructure overhead through event-driven services and centralized monitoring.
