PathMotion, an online discussion platform that connects job candidates with real employees, needed to scale beyond its monolithic architecture as it expanded in France and the UK. To support future growth and improve maintainability, PathMotion worked with Google Cloud Platform and OP-Rate to migrate its platform to the cloud.

Google Cloud Platform helped PathMotion move to a phased microservices setup using Google Kubernetes Engine, with supporting services like App Engine and Cloud SQL. The new architecture enabled near-instant recovery from outages, reduced the impact of heavy database jobs by using replicas, and improved compliance response times with strong security tooling. As a result, PathMotion now runs fully on Google Cloud with a scalable foundation for entering new markets and adding future AI/ML features.
