Partner Serenading AI algorithms to find the best singer of the “Bella Ciao” song

Partner, one of Israel’s leading telecom providers, wanted to promote a new Netflix offer in a highly competitive market while reinforcing its image as an innovator. Working with creative agency GSS, the company used Google Cloud Platform to turn the “Bella Ciao” song from *Money Heist* into a national singing challenge that would engage customers in a fresh, playful way.

Using Google Cloud Platform services including Speech-to-Text and Cloud Functions, GSS built a web app that scored performances in seconds and scaled smoothly as interest surged. The campaign became a viral hit, attracting more than 70,000 participants in one week, handling one upload every two seconds at peak, and contributing to a 20% increase in the perception of Partner as an innovative brand over six months, along with more than 6,000 leads.
