Papel San Francisco achieves 100% availability with SAP environments in Google Cloud

Papel San Francisco, a Mexican paper manufacturer, needed to improve service levels, infrastructure security, and IT spending efficiency while migrating its SAP environments from a private to a public cloud. The company turned to Google Cloud Platform, using Google Cloud and Compute Engine, to support its growth and maintain 100% availability.

With help from Google Cloud Platform and partner Xertica, Papel San Francisco completed a secure SAP migration in less than six months and consolidated its environments into 36 active servers across development, quality, and production. The move improved flexibility and speed, reduced connectivity costs and data rooms from three to one, and delivered more than 37% annual savings in operating IT infrastructure and services expenses.
