PancakeSwap Supporting the DeFi ecosystem with an always-available infrastructure

PancakeSwap, a DeFi trading platform based in Singapore, needed a more reliable and scalable infrastructure as user traffic grew and availability became critical for around-the-clock blockchain trading. Working with Google Cloud Platform and partner Helix Technologies, PancakeSwap aimed to keep users connected to BNB Chain endpoints without downtime while improving performance and security.

Google Cloud Platform helped PancakeSwap implement Cloud Load Balancing, Google Kubernetes Engine, Operations Suite, and Cloud Armor to route traffic, scale quickly, monitor stability, and protect data. The results included support for more than 1 billion requests on the BNB chain without downtime, 99.99% uptime, over 30% cost savings, a 62.5x reduction in peak response time, and an average node request time of 100 ms.
