Google Cloud Platform helped Otto Group migrate nine SAP systems and cut the overall SAP migration timeline from three years to 18 months. The solution reduced network latency from 42 milliseconds to 8 milliseconds, and enabled SAP system deployments in hours instead of 8 to 12 weeks. Google Cloud Platform also improved backup resilience through Cloud Storage and simplified monitoring with the operations suite.
