OkCredit is an Indian bookkeeping platform for micro and small businesses that needed a more reliable way to manage rapidly growing transaction logs, scale its app, and support credit-based merchant workflows. The company turned to Google Cloud Platform to replace a single-machine setup that was becoming unstable as usage increased.

Using Google Cloud Platform services including Google Kubernetes Engine, Pub/Sub, Cloud SQL, Cloud Storage, and BigQuery, OkCredit improved stability, automated infrastructure, and enabled faster analytics on user and transaction data. The results included easing DevOps overhead, reducing bottlenecks, and supporting 52% year-on-year engagement growth, while helping OkCredit process large volumes of data and reach more than 2.7 million customers monthly.
