A Google Cloud Platform Case Study
MLB needed a way to modernize its applications and handle large volumes of fan data while balancing security, reliability, and scalability. Working with Google Cloud Platform, MLB used cloud tools to reimagine existing applications and support more personalized fan experiences without disrupting the baseball season.
Google Cloud Platform helped MLB transition most of its applications to the cloud with Anthos for development and deployment, Google Kubernetes Engine for containerized workloads, and Google Distributed Cloud for edge processing. This enabled MLB to scale resources on demand, reduce latency near stadiums, and make real-time, data-driven decisions while strengthening its security model.
