MKTECH, a China-based smart device hardware and software provider, needed a way to deliver glitchless digital TV, VOD, and IoT services to customers across Europe, Latin America, and Southeast Asia. Looker was part of MKTECH’s broader Google Cloud data strategy, helping the company analyze streaming behavior for personalized recommendations, while Google Cloud tools handled deployment and delivery. With Google Cloud, MKTECH reduced operational workloads by 80%, improved product development efficiency by 20%, and boosted video transcoding and decoding efficiency by 4–5x. It also improved bandwidth quality, reduced user reports, and enabled smoother global media streaming.
