Mirror Media, a Taiwanese news media company and online news platform, needed a reliable, scalable way to deliver breaking news to millions of readers while handling traffic spikes, security threats, and a small IT team. The company chose Google Cloud Platform, using services such as Cloud Run, Cloud Load Balancing, Cloud Build, and Google Cloud Armor to support its news operations.

With Google Cloud Platform, Mirror Media shifted to a serverless, highly available architecture that reduced operational overhead and improved speed. Deployment time dropped from about two hours to 10–20 minutes, DDoS attacks were nearly eliminated, and the site continued to serve readers with near-zero downtime even during traffic surges, freeing the team to focus more on product development.
