Minka is an open infrastructure for publishing balances that helps banks, fintechs, clearing houses, and other financial organizations move money in real time. Operating since 2018, Minka needed a way to modernize outdated payment infrastructure, support rapid scaling, and enable secure, flexible real-time financial services with Google Cloud Platform.

Using Google Cloud Platform services including Cloud Run, Cloud SQL, and Google Cloud Armor, Minka built a cloud-based platform to publish balances and support blockchain-based financial operations. The solution helped fintechs and traditional institutions launch new financial products in days instead of months or years, and powers TransfiYa, which helps more than 10 million people per month move money in real time.
