Simprints, a nonprofit serving patients in the developing world who often lack reliable ID, needed a scalable way to run its biometric fingerprint solution and handle rapid growth without sacrificing performance. Using Looker with Google Cloud data foundations such as BigQuery, the team also wanted better visibility into fingerprint quality and operational data as it expanded across multiple countries.

Looker helped Simprints turn its data into actionable insights, supporting decisions like using two fingerprint scans instead of one or ten to balance speed and accuracy. Combined with Google Cloud’s scalable infrastructure, Simprints now handles about 18,000 sessions a day with a small team, supports projects in 12 countries, and has lowered overhead while preparing for even larger deployments.
