Case Study: Madgic achieves 10x traffic growth and reduced latency with Google Cloud Platform

A Google Cloud Platform Case Study

Preview of the Madgic Case Study

Madgic Powering quality-focused ad tech with no tricks, just growth

Madgic is a France-based programmatic mobile advertising platform that filters traffic to ensure ad quality and brand safety. Facing rapid volume swings (processing 400,000 incoming QPS but only passing 40,000 QPS), geographic latency limits, and expensive, slow-to-scale dedicated servers, Madgic needed a global, flexible, and cost-efficient infrastructure to take on new publishing partners.

By moving to Google Cloud Platform across five regions and using Cloud Load Balancing, Compute Engine (including autoscalable Preemptible VMs), Cloud Vision API, Cloud Storage and BigQuery, Madgic cut latencies by up to 200 ms, automated fast ad-quality screening, and slashed infrastructure costs. The cloud migration let the company scale in minutes instead of weeks and supported growth from 3 billion to 30 billion requests per day in 18 months, with plans to double again.
